Critical Holdings Secures RM82 Million Contract

Critical Holdings Berhad’s wholly owned subsidiary, Critical M&E Engineering Sdn Bhd, has successfully secured a contract from a renowned US-based multinational company.

The contract is worth RM82 million and involves the mechanical and electrical related fit-out, cleanroom and interior design works for a new three-storey office building, one-storey production and warehouse facilitation located at Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru.

The aforementioned works are expected to be completed over a sixteen (16) week period and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the company for the financial year ending June 30, 2025.

Critical Holdings’ Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Ir Tan Si Lim said they are proud to announce the award as it represents the largest single contract they have won to date and is one of the several other larger tenders they have been participating in.

“It also solidifies our standing as a ‘go-to’ mechanical, electrical and process solutions provider in the cleanroom, plantroom and data centre space.

“Furthermore, this contract win is in line with our strategy of expanding our presence down south where there are many new opportunities and investments arising. With this contract in hand, our orderbook will stand at roughly RM204 million,” Tan said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.
